Our History

The 857 Nuclear factory was founded in the early 1960 's, the company’s location is personally selected in a mountain by China First Prime Minister Zhou Enlai , it was the TOP1 ultrafine nickel powder manufacture factory in Asia, and unique uranium separation membrane factory in China. It gathered a lot of technology experts &talents from the following five colleges: Tsinghua University, University of Science Technology Beijing, Chongqing University, Dalian Institute of Iron and Steel, Central& South Institute of Mining and Metallurgy. And about 750 outstanding officers and soldiers from the PLA of Armed Force, and 1050 young workers from Beijing, Shanghai, Chongqing, Sichuan, total Joined in the old state-owned nuclear group of 857 factory. In 1966, 857 factory finally provided critical core components for the part of atomic centrifuge, make outstanding contributions for China Nuclear Bomb & Hydrogen Bomb industry. Reformed in 2003, in according with the relevant national documents ,had established Chengdu Nuclear 857 New Materials Co.,Ltd.
